Cherie Gilbody

My name is Cherie, I am the Nominated Supervisor at Amaze Early Education Centre Beaudesert. I embarked my early childhood journey in 2011, during my years of experience and developing my skills as an Educator, Leader, Mentor and Manager.

I am a mum of three children and consider myself a Beaudesert local among the community. In my spare time, I thoroughly enjoy camping, cooking and being as creative as I can be.

In my experience I have a satisfying passion for growth and development in scaffolding a connected team, establishing strong connections with children and families. I truly believe the key to a child is to be their friend. Every child deserves a safe secure and connected Education, and the early years is where it all begins. Among many theories that puzzle piece the leader I have become, I do believe that parents are a child’s first teacher, children embark their journey in a supported village approach to shape the little people of the future. Each child deserves an opportunity ability to get messy, take risks and explore their environments.

My goal for Beaudesert is to establish a community feel and encompass strong connections and relationships with children and families
