Amaze Education

Amaze Early Education Centres are caring vibrant places where children are able to express themselves through play based learning using a variety of resources.

We promote a holistic development of children in terms of self-confidence, independence, organisation of thinking and the ability to work and communicate with others.

The child care centres in Gold Coast, Logan, Ipswich, Beaudesert and Brisbane are owned by 3 partners
– Lucy Cook, Phil Mazey and his dad Bruce Mazey.

Lucy holds a Masters in Education and has teaching experience at a number of South-East Queensland schools. She fully understands how important early education is in the preparation for school and have practical knowledge of working with children of all ages and abilities.

With 9 children between Lucy and Phil’s families, they completely appreciate how difficult it can be juggling children, work and life. Their aim is to provide a safe and warm environment for your children to grow and develop so that child care is one less thing you need to worry about.

Lucy and Phil are actively involved in the day to day running of Amaze and work very closely with the centre Directors.

Each member of the Amaze team is fully qualified and educated in Child Care, so your children will be cared for by a team that is not only qualified but also experienced in working within early education. Although we support new students who are wishing to gain work experience, they are not employed at our centre as we believe in providing the highest possible calibre of care for children.

We love bare feet in the early years. We believe bare feet are important for development, especially skills such as walking, balance and climbing. 👣Many children, will naturally remove their shoes to play, climb and be outside. Dear Parent, it's okay. It's okay to remove the shoes.Nature Play - take a step back and observe your child at play ... See MoreSee Less
