We are loving welcoming the children and families of Beaudesert.
- Our VISION is to be the best early childhood education provider for the benefit of all stakeholders and embedded in the communities we serve.

- We are responsive to our communities and environment and all Amaze centres look different for this reason.
- Immersed in bushland on 202-216 Brooklands Drive, we have built a beautiful farmhouse. As with all Amaze centres it is located where we can easily conduct Bush Kindy and outdoor experiences.
- We hope our children and families share their culture and traditions with us to build a true home away from home.

Suzanne has been in early childhood for 28 years, the last 14 years as a Director.
Suzanne joined Amaze in 2016 and lead our Silkstone, Ipswich centre for 6 years to become the high quality, nurturing hub it is today. Her talent, skills and passion were recognised when she was appointed the inaugural Director of the state of the art Amaze Beaudesert in January 2022. Being local to the area has been a huge asset to Suzanne as she has gotten to know our families and children. In her role, Suzanne always aims to guide and support parent and educator relationships and to always put children first in every decision made.

Welcome to Amaze Silkstone!

At Amaze Silkstone, our indoor and outdoor play spaces are designed to fulfil the ideals of the Early Years Learning Framework. Our outdoor area offers sensory-rich environments, inspired landscaping, areas for running, riding and dramatic play, as well as sustainable edible gardens, solar-powered pump and chicken coop.
Our Silkstone, Ipswich daycare centre also includes a baby room (from 6 weeks) and caters for children from 12 months to 5 years old.
It can be tough for parents to leave their children with carers. At Amaze Silkstone, we have created a supportive atmosphere where children have a strong foundation to learn and thrive. Amaze has a low staff turnover which means that your children will have consistency in their educators week after week, month after month.
At Amaze Silkstone, we teach the social and practical skills that children require before starting school. We recognise that children learn at their own pace, and our qualified staff are there to help them at each stage of their development.
The Kindergarten program we offer at our Long Day Care Ipswich centre is government approved, with a university qualified Early Childhood Teacher in the preschool class every day.
Every day, your children will learn skills such as phonetics, pre-literacy, pre-numeracy and social skills. We will also introduce them to working in groups, help them hone their listening skills and following instructions.

Shauna has worked in Early Childhood since 2004. She is a passionate Educator who is excited to take risks and bring learning outdoors. Shauna believes in growing as an educator through collaboration, professional development and learning from others. She also believes that each child’s voice is important and should be celebrated. Shauna is excited to support your children’s development with play based learning in a safe, secure and inclusive environment.

Dear Redbank Plains Families!
We’re excited to tell you all about…our Amaze RBP Centre, opened in January 2020!
After over 14 years preparing little people for school and life, Amaze was delighted to have joined the Redbank Plains community.
We are excited to tell you all about our internationally inspired outdoor classroom, our Adventure Play Philosophy, our home-cooked meals and you can be reassured that everything is provided including nappies. As parents and teachers, we know what a big decision it is to entrust your precious child into our care. Amaze is so honoured to have this opportunity to be embedded in the Redbank Plains community.

My name is Kelly and I am the Director of this beautiful centre and incredible team we have here at Amaze Redbank Plains.
I hold a Diploma of Children’s Services and a Diploma of Leadership and Management, along with 19 years’ experience within Early Childhood Education. Half of that experience has been within management, including the establishment of a Bush Kindy program in Jimboomba, endorsed by Nature Play Queensland.
My core values in life are to practice respect to others and myself, to remain curious about this weird and wonderful world we live in and that gratitude is always the best attitude. I enjoy my life with my partner, my step-children, our 2 cats and spotted python named Fluffy.
I chose to work with Amaze Education as the Amaze Respect Culture Wheel and vision align with my own values. I feel quite strongly about creating an inclusive educational space where children’s individual needs are tailored for. A space where children can learn, play and be free as they are.

We’re Parents
With 9 children between our families, we know what a big decision it is entrusting your children into someone’s early education or care centre. As owners and teachers, we are passionate about high-quality care and strong educational programs. These are the hallmarks of all our child care centres in Gold Coast.
We’ve Created Our Ideal Childcare Centre
As parents and teachers we know that when we were searching the Gaven for childcare, we looked for warmth, love and nurturing. (Having all food and nappies provided was an added bonus!) Ultimately we wanted someone to care for and educate our children as we would have done so ourselves. So we created early childhood environments where we were hands-on owners and the children of our centres were at the heart of all our decisions.
We also give your child the best start to their school life through our Queensland Government Kindergarten Program. This is facilitated by a Bachelor trained teacher.
Children Learn Through Playing
At Amaze’s Gaven Kindy, all our indoor and outdoor environments have been designed with the Early Years Learning Framework in mind, thereby maximising your child’s learning through play.
We know that having owners who are teachers, who are present and who are accessible in your child’s centre is fairly unique these days, so as we have found at our other centres, unfortunately, places fill fast.
Being present allows us to be committed to continuous improvement thereby giving your child an “Amaze-ing start to learning!”

Kara McCarthy
Centre Director, Gaven Long Day Care Centre (Gaven, Gold Coast)
Kara joined Amaze at the beginning of 2015 after many years in centres across the Gold Coast. ara is passionate about bringing nature into our children’s lives and sustainable living. Her efforts saw her lead her team at Amaze’s Hinterland Centre to receive an EXCEEDING rating at their National Quality Standards assessment. At the beginning of 2018, Kara oversaw the opening of Amaze’s new Childcare Centre at Gaven where she is now Director.
