We are in uncertain times, and staying home is the safest option that has been advised right now. While that’s a great idea in theory, are you concerned your little ones will start getting bored with all that time indoors? Don’t worry. We have you covered!

As leading child educators, we felt like it was our duty to help parents and children that are suffering from the lockdown period. After some research, we are happy to share with you some different virtual activities and resources that will assist in both entertaining and educating children (and parents too!).

1. National and International Tours

Visiting museums is an excellent way for both adults and children to learn about history. Due to current times, physically visiting some of these places is not possible. However, we have found several museums and galleries who are offering virtual tours.

Grab the children and take a tour in the comfort and safety of your own home.

Zoos Victoria provides a more vivid virtual zoo experience. Their new project, Animal House: We’re Bringing the Zoo to You, lets you and your children watch animals live! We know 2020 has started with quite a few bumps on the road. However, we truly believe that better days are ahead and just around the corner.

In the meantime, as we all stay safe indoors, take advantage of the magic of technology. It shines more today than ever. You can still explore the outside world in the comfort of your own home. Enjoy each moment you spend with your children and use this time to reconnect (even if it’s done virtually).

Take everything in stride and always look at the brighter things in life!
