Thank you to all parents that are ensuring their child is coming with a jumper and warm clothing during these cool days.
It is important that we have the clothing (including socks and shoes) to be able to dress your child appropriately later in the day.If your child does not have warm clothing in their bags, you will receive a phone call asking you to bring the appropriate clothing down.
We do try our best to keep clothing on the children in the afternoons especially, encouraging them to help put their clothing back on when they take it off – a constant battle that I am sure you all deal with as well.
Please can you help us out by naming your child’s belongings.Thank you and together we will aim to keep the cold germs away!
During the first 2 weeks of August, we will have here in the centre the Henny Penny Hatching Program.
This program enables all children to watch the process of eggs in the incubator, eggs hatching and chicks emerge and into the ‘Hatcher’ which gives children a full 360⁰ view.
During this time, children are able to help feed the chicks, have a hold and watch them grow a little. At the end of the program, families and friends are able to take any of the chicks we have here if they wish!
It will be $3 per child in the centre. The hatch will be set up in the Foyer area, enabling groups of children to come and visit at any time of the day.
Also a chance for our children to talk about it with their parents upon arrival or departure!
